High-quality vegetable oils have been proven to be beneficial in horse feed. They are concentrated sources of energy: the digestible energy content is a good three times that of oats. At the same time, they are practically protein-free. Vegetable oils are therefore ideal for increasing the energy content of horse feed without burdening the horse with additional protein and carbohydrates.

Furthermore, many vegetable oils also contain valuable omega fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E.
